Which portable power station? Look at Wh per kg and yen per Wh, not just capacity
Choosing by capacity (Wh) alone goes wrong. The unit may be too heavy to carry, or the price may not fit.
Here are three models released from July to September 2026, in release order. As an IT consultant, I read the conditions behind the maximum figure first, so I divided capacity by weight and by price to put them on one scale.
The short answer: Jackery 1000 New V3 for portability plus high output, Anker Solix S2000 for big capacity, BLUETTI AORA 100 mini for a small, cheap way in.
Three yardsticks: capacity per kg, capacity per yen, output
Capacity per kg decides how hard it is to carry. Price per Wh decides value. Rated output (W) decides what you can run, such as a hair dryer or kettle.

Jackery 1000 New V3: 1,500W in 10.6 kg
Released Jul 24, 2026, this is the top model of Jackery's best-selling series. It has seven outputs: three AC, two USB-C (up to 100W), one USB-A and a car socket.
It is about 19% smaller than before and weighs 10.6 kg. For camping and for outages, I judge it a size that carries well and works for both.

Anker Solix S2000: 2,010Wh in 16.2 kg
Released Sep 23, 2026, this 2,000Wh-class model switches to battery power automatically during an outage. It charges from 0% to full in about 108 minutes in the app's ultra-fast mode.
About 124.1Wh per kg is the highest of the three. It suits homes that want to keep a fridge running for hours or keep working during a blackout.

BLUETTI AORA 100 mini: the small way into 1,000Wh
Pre-orders opened Jul 6, 2026 for this small 1,000Wh-class unit. At 700W rated it can't run 1,000W-plus appliances like a hair dryer, but it is plenty for phones, laptops and small appliances.
At about JPY 96.3 per Wh, it is the lowest of the three. BLUETTI sells through its own site, Amazon, Rakuten and Yahoo! Shopping stores; the button leads to its Rakuten store.

What I like, and what to watch
What I like
Jackery: 1,500W in 10.6 kg. Enough output for most appliances in a size you can carry. Anker: 2,010Wh in a body about 36% smaller than before. BLUETTI: 1,000Wh in 10.7 kg at a low price.
What to watch
The Anker Solix S2000 weighs 16.2 kg and costs JPY 199,900. The BLUETTI is rated 700W, so check the wattage of what you want to run. These contain lithium batteries; follow the maker's manual for placement and charging.
Which one should you buy?
Camping and outage backup in one unit: Jackery 1000 New V3. A fridge and a microwave at home: Anker Solix S2000. Just phones and laptops with light luggage: BLUETTI AORA 100 mini.
If you can't decide, buy the Jackery 1000 New V3. You carry 1,500W in 10.6 kg.
