【Hardcore Gadget Geek's Review】Anker Nano Power Bank (MagGo, Plus) Review: A 10,000mAh Bank About 15mm Thin and 215g, With Layered Safety Design, JPY 11,990
The Anker Nano Power Bank (MagGo, Plus) is a 10,000mAh magnetic power bank with Qi2 15W, in a body about 15mm thick and about 215g. Anker opened preorders on May 27, 2026, and Rakuten shows JPY 11,990. It is the pick for people who choose on thinness and safety design.
Key points
- Preorders opened May 27, 2026 (Anker). Rakuten shows JPY 11,990. The white one is planned for around autumn 2026
- About 104×71×15mm, about 215g, 10,000mAh. Qi2 15W and USB-C up to 30W (17W total when used together)
- Anker's own "Neo Lithium-ion Battery", a flame-resistant case and per-second cell monitoring (Anker's description)

The Nano Power Bank (MagGo, Plus) layers safety design onto a body about 15mm thin
With a bank that sticks to your phone, you care about both thinness and safety. This one is a 10,000mAh bank that keeps about 15mm of thickness and adds several layers of safety design.
Anker says it uses a new cell, the "Neo Lithium-ion Battery", with reduced impurities, a flame-resistant case, and a management system that monitors each cell every second.
As an IT consultant (SE), I read the footnote before the headline number. On safety, I keep to describing what the maker says.
How I judged it
First, thinness and weight. About 104×71×15mm at about 215g, or about 46mAh per gram (10,000 ÷ 215). That thinness counts when you carry it in a pocket.
Next, output. Qi2 magnetic wireless is 15W, and USB-C is up to 30W in and out. Used together, the total is 17W (5W wireless plus 12W USB-C).
If you can't decide, take the Nano Power Bank (MagGo, Plus). The reason: 10,000mAh in about 15mm, 30W over USB-C, and a thick layer of safety design.

How does it differ from the Belkin BPD018?
| Item | Anker Nano (MagGo, Plus) | Belkin BPD018 | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thickness | About 15mm | 16.3mm | −1.3mm |
| Weight | About 215g | About 205g | +10g |
| Wireless | Up to 15W | Up to 15W | Same |
| USB-C | Up to 30W | Up to 30W | Same |
| Price | JPY 11,990 (Rakuten) | JPY 10,990 (at launch) | +JPY 1,000 |
Output is the same. The Nano is 1.3mm thinner, and the BPD018 is 10g lighter. The gaps are small. What decides it is how much weight you give Anker's safety-design explanation against a JPY 1,000 price gap.
Strengths and things to note
Strengths
Thin. 10,000mAh at about 15mm suits people who carry it in a pocket or pouch.
A thick safety-design story. Anker says it uses a cell that scored a 100% pass rate in a third-party nail-penetration test (GB 47372-2026 standard).
Things to note
Wireless is 15W, not a 25W fast model. Used together, output falls to 17W total. The white one is planned for autumn, so for now it is black. Take safety performance as the maker's description, and follow the safety notes when you use it.
Who is it for?
People who stick a bank to an iPhone and carry it in a pocket. People who weigh thinness and the safety-design explanation heavily. It also suits anyone who wants to power a laptop or tablet over USB-C.
If you want a quick 25W top-up, 25W-class models such as the Belkin UltraCharge Pro are another option.
Price and where to buy
Anker's official Rakuten store lists JPY 11,990. Over a year, that is about JPY 33 a day (11,990 ÷ 365).
If you can't decide, take the Nano Power Bank (MagGo, Plus). The reason: 15W and 30W outputs and a layered safety design in a body about 15mm thin and 215g.
