【Hardcore Gadget Geek's Review】iFLYTEK AI Voice Recorder P1 Review: JPY 19,800, About 22.5g, Up to 25 Hours and About 700 Hours of Storage
The iFLYTEK AI Voice Recorder P1 packs up to 25 hours of continuous recording and 64GB of storage into a body of about 22.5g. It went on sale Jun 12, 2026 at JPY 19,800 (tax included). It is my pick for lightness and battery if you record meetings all day.
Key points
- Release date: Jun 12, 2026, at JPY 19,800 tax included (the P1 Pro above it is JPY 29,800)
- About 22.5g and 300mAh. Up to 25 hours of recording, up to 85 days of standby, and about 2 hours from 5 minutes of charging
- About 700 hours stored in 64GB. Real-time transcription and two-way translation in 11 languages
[Released Jun 12, 2026] iFLYTEK AI Voice Recorder P1
The P1 is a light, long-lasting AI recorder: 22.5g, 25 hours
A heavy recorder gets left at home, and a short battery dies mid-meeting. The P1 puts up to 25 hours of continuous recording into a body of about 22.5g.
At two hours of meetings a day, one charge covers about 12 days (25 ÷ 2 = 12.5). The 64GB holds about 700 hours, which is about 350 days (700 ÷ 2).
As an IT consultant (SE), I read the footnote before the headline number. So the 25 hours is treated as the maker's figure, with its note attached.
How I judged it
First I looked at weight. About 22.5g is roughly 41% of the P1 Pro's 55g (22.5 ÷ 55). You can wear it as a pendant, a clip or like a watch.
Next, battery and storage. With 25 hours and about 700 hours, you can carry it through a week of meetings with little worry about space.
If you can't decide, take the P1. The reason: for JPY 19,800 you get both 22.5g and a 25-hour battery.

The P1 Pro is the upper model with three mics that pick up distant voices, hi-res recording and a large screen you can operate on the device. The JPY 10,000 gap is about half the P1's price.
For big meeting rooms and lectures, take the P1 Pro. For carrying and everyday meetings, the P1.
Strengths and things to note
Strengths
Light and long-lasting. 22.5g and 25 hours together are the strength, and there are three ways to wear it.
Room to spare in storage. 64GB holds about 700 hours, roughly 91MB an hour (64,000 ÷ 700).
Things to note
It has two mics, and for voices far across a room the P1 Pro's three mics fit better. The neck strap and wristband are sold separately. If you transcribe a lot, check the app's plans too. Get the other person's consent before recording.
Who is it for?
People who record meetings and talks almost every day. People who want a recorder light enough to wear all day. It also suits anyone keeping the budget under JPY 20,000.
For distant seats or lectures, the three-mic P1 Pro is another way to choose.
Price and where to buy
JPY 19,800 tax included, sold at iFLYTEK's official store and others. Over a year, that is about JPY 54 a day (19,800 ÷ 365).
If you can't decide, take the P1. The reason: about 22.5g, up to 25 hours, and about 700 hours of storage.
