The LG UltraFine 27U710B-B is a 27-inch, 4K, IPS monitor. It rolled out in Japan from mid-May 2026 at an expected street price of about JPY 44,000 (tax included). It covers 90% of DCI-P3 (typical) and its stand adjusts 80mm in height. It has no USB Type-C port.

The 27U710B-B is a 27-inch 4K with good color and posture adjustment
LG Electronics Japan began rolling out the 27U710B-B from mid-May 2026. It is a 27-inch 4K monitor with an expected street price of about JPY 44,000 (tax included).
The panel is IPS at 3840 x 2160. It is one step below the 27U730B-B, which adds USB Type-C.
As a desk-setup nerd, I find that cheap 4K monitors differ in color and height adjustment. This article reads those two first.
How I judged it
First, color and posture. It covers 90% of DCI-P3 (typical), a wider range than sRGB. The stand adjusts 80mm in height and tilts from 5 degrees forward to 15 back.
Next, the gap to the step-up model. The 27U730B-B costs about JPY 55,000 and adds USB Type-C (video, up to 65W charging and data over one cable). The gap is about JPY 11,000, or 25% of the 710B (11,000 / 44,000).
It also has features to ease eye strain: flicker-safe, a Blue Light Reduction mode, a color-vision adjustment mode and Smart Energy Saving. They help if you stare at a screen all day.
If you can't decide, take the 27U710B-B. The reason: a 90% DCI-P3 4K IPS panel with 80mm of height adjustment for about JPY 44,000.

HDR10 works when you play content that supports it, such as certain videos and games.

The one big gap is USB Type-C. Spread over a year, the difference is about JPY 30 a day (11,000 / 365). Take the 730B-B to charge a laptop over one cable, and the 710B-B otherwise.

People who edit video or photos, build documents or code, and want a 4K screen that takes care of color and posture. People whose work keeps them in front of a screen.
If you want to charge a laptop over one cable, the 27U730B-B is another way to choose.
